 An aptly placed jewel in Saberion’s growing portfolio of clientele, the Careems web solution is a critically heralded masterpiece boasting stunning imagery, woven together with flowing texts, creating an exclusive aura of elegance, reminiscent throughout the entire site.
The Challenge
Developing a solution for the most prestigious Sri Lankan retail jeweller based in the world’s most famous island for coloured gem stones and offering a diverse range of gem studed jewellery designs, was a challenge from the incept. Highlighting over a dozen varied themes based on colour and design while synergizing the trust mark of excellence in quality, design and presentation reminiscent within its century old reputation was an intricate act of balance. However the most interesting challenge within the site was the development of a user friendly 4 pronged search facility within an extremely detailed gallery, which allowed the visitor to find the most suitable item of jewellery reflecting his or her unique style and personality.
The Solution
Saberion developed a unique ‘store front’ concept inspired by the display at the Careems flagship store at the Colombo Hilton , which incorporated the seven major themes inherent in the latest collection, with a rich flash presentation blended in with a subtle touch of light piano. We placed emphasis on the exquisite detail in each item and highlighted the intricacies in the craftsmanship. The heritage of the master jewellers was brought out through a detailed timeline and consistently mirrored throughout the solution. Finally the gallery was a revelation in product retrieval and presentation, blending in user friendly design and intractability. |
