Creating ‘site stickiness’ through the generation of relevant data, downloadable applications and interactive front ends was raised to new highs with the launch of the Shan-Teas web solution. The ceaseless integration of colour, branding and design into a solution destined to be far more than a website, has received universal acclaim and has justifiably become a frequently referred oracle of information for many in the industry.
The Challenge
With its frequent appearance at a number of trade shows worldwide, brand recognition combined with client base retention and expansion were key concerns of Shan Teas. Through the web solution the corporation also sought to create credibility and reliability to a market more accustomed to older more established players.
The Solution
The natural answer was leveraging a web solution that is not only a marketing tool but is constantly creating value through ‘utilities’ such as a secure login facility for trusted clientele with an embedded shipment tracking system allowing them to constantly monitor the condition of their items. We tackled the relative youth of the company by launching its virtual identity as being an ‘oracle of knowledge’, a master of all things related to tea from interesting recipe’s, terms and even history. The site itself was heavily branded around Shan Teas in order to create instant client recognition and familiarisation, from the screen savers, wall papers to even the premise of the flash presentation on the home page. |
